Another of my many onging photographic/art projects is entitled 'Woodland fantasy'.

This project initially came about as a result of my travels on the canals of Britain which took me to various rural sites that I might not have normally visited.

To come across an SSI (site of scientific interest) nearby a canal is not as unusual as you might think when you consider the industrial heritage of the canal and the local land features that might now be unused such as coal mining, quarries etc.

As a result I came across various woodland/rural locations that lent themselves to an editing process in order to achieve the required result. This is one example, with more to follow no doubt.
