Image of the week

The winter weather seems to be dragging on in the UK and so I have selected one of my landscape images to remind us of better days ahead.

The lake in the image is in the Lake District national park and supplies water to Manchester.

Following a days walking in the hills beyond it was a suprise to come across such beautiful reflections.

An unusual portrait mode for this landscape was chosen along with some slight diffusion to provide a softer look and feel.
