Image of the week

Image of the week will soon need to be renamed image of the month if I do nothing to rectify the regularity of posting.

How time seems to fly by.

In response I am posting a new image that was taken on a recent visit to an RSPB reserve. The lake and reedbeds formed from redundant quarries provided an excellent landscape enhanced by winter sunset.

I have used colour masks to accentuate the natural sunlight falling on the reeds and lake edge and added a little diffusion to soften the overall effect.
